VANCOUVER'S CRUISE MONTH CELEBRATES REDUCING AIR EMISSIONS
Port Metro Vancouver is celebrating Cruise Month until May 29 this year.

The first port in Canada , and third in the world, to offer shore power, Port Metro Vancouver effectively allows cruise ships to shut down their engines and connect to an electrical power supply while docked.

To learn more about this effective way of reducing air emissions, cruise passengers can visit the Interpretive Centre located at the north end of Canada Place (one of the ports two cruise terminals) weekdays from 9AM to 4PM.
