PLAINLY RIDICULOUS
Just in case you thought you had heard it all - here’s a real humdinger of a rumor that is circulating the airline industry, which may just be of interest if you need to get to Grenada or Barbados from New York.
Apparently Air Jamaica wants to introduce a new luggage system in which the first bag is free but the second will cost $25. Small problem though - the second bag (the one you are charged for) will not travel on the same plane as you. And in fact, there is no guarantee that the second bag will arrive at your destination until the following week.
As they say in Jamaica, “no problem, mon”
